 If you are standing around with others and they put down someone who has a faith in Jesus and you say nothing, does Jesus feel it's no big deal?

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. 1 Peter 4:14

I've been in the same position and realize it's not easy to stand up for your beliefs, especially when you are among people who are putting others down. Fortunately for us, Jesus didn't say that He wouldn't go through the betrayal, mocking, scourging, and Crucifixion and Resurrection, because He knew we wouldn't stand up for Him in front of others!
