How Do You Think Jesus Feels About People Who Say They Use the God Power Within Them, Rather Than Turn to Jesus in Prayer?
There are those who think that they, as believers in Jesus, can make things happen the way they want through the God Power Within Them. Now, nothing in the Bible lends itself to this way of thinking and I've read the Bible from cover to cover 16+ times. Jesus wants us to turn to Him in all things, not some power we think we have through Him. Sure, some of the things that people "Will" to happen might happen, but that would be Satan at work accomplishing this to lead them astray. He would do this so they start focusing on the God Power Within them rather than their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
In Romans 9: 15-16 it says: For He [God] says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So then it is not of him who wills nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy."
