When we know that so many people haven't enough food and we count on someone else to do something about it, are we doing Jesus' will?

It's been difficult for most of us over the last months. I know that I've even retreated into my own world while facing the COVID-19 Pandemic, but is that what Jesus wants of us? Sure, it's a normal reaction to all that has been going on in our world, but we need to focus on the bigger picture.

Ephesians 2:8-10 says: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

It doesn't sound to me that Jesus likes us retreating, even through this tough time, and forget the needs of the hungry, lonely, and less fortunate!
