When We Say We Love Jesus, but Make Snide Remarks About Minorities Who Would Seek Asylum in Our Country, Are We Doing His Will?
I remember singing with the younger ones at Vacation Bible School: Jesus loves the little children. All the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world.
The thing is, it's often difficult in society to see how these children are provided for. There are arguments between adults about not providing money or assistance to those who can't afford a decent living. Also, about not giving medical privileges to those in our country, because they are not legal citizens.
The song doesn't say, Jesus loves the little children, especially the whites and those fortunate enough to have decent jobs or to be considered legal citizens. Think about it. Would Jesus be proud of how you talk about those of other races or how you treating them.
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. But this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 1 John 5:1-2
What Do Our Actions Say When Jesus Calls Us? Sometimes, the lack of action conveys more than we imagine, but there's still time to make changes! Yeah, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for Thee; the Desire of our soul is to Thy name, and to the remembrance of Thee. Isaiah 26:8
