When You Feel Like Christ Doesn't Remember All You've Done for Him, Are You Losing Sight of the End Goal?

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name. Malachi 3: 16

When you feel like Christ doesn't remember all you've done for Him, are you losing sight of the end goal? It's easy when troubles seem to overwhelm us to feel like Jesus has forgotten about us, but He hasn't. It shows in the previous verse in blue, that Jesus notes how we persevere on His behalf. That verse is followed in the Bible by the verse in pink. Christ considers us His jewels which He values so much that He gave His life for us and arose again, so that we can join Him in heaven some day! I want us to be one of His jewels!!!!

And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of Hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own Son that serveth him. Malachi 3:17

When Others Tempt You to Give into Worldly Ways, Does Your Joining in Tell Jesus That He Doesn't Matter?

And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If Thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But He answered and said, It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:3-4

When others tempt you to give into worldly ways, does your joining in tell Jesus that He Doesn't matter? It's so easy to go along with the norm, saying spiteful things about others and judging people's clothes, cars, finances, status, etc. Jesus resisted temptation when it would be easy to just do what Satan asked of Him. Christ knew that His actions made a difference to others and so do ours. Christ needs us to stand above the crowd and be willing to defy the temptations that Satan lays out there for us through the ways of the world.

Jesus says, "By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another." John 13:35

When You Are Feeling Like It's Too Difficult to be a Christian in the World Today, Are You Telling Jesus that Salvation Isn't Worth It?

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4: 8-9

When you are feeling like it's too difficult to be a Christian in the world today, are you telling Jesus that salvation isn't worth it? I know it's so easy to let the mean-hateful rhetoric of the day, the insensitivities of people against one another, and the lack of common decency get to you. But what are our actions telling Christ when we let it get the best of us? He never gave up on us. Jesus was willing to be humiliated, spat upon, betrayed, and crucified, so He could rise again on the third day because of His love for us. He thought we were worth it. So, we need to take heart in the midst of the apathy we come across and realize salvation is worth it and Christ needs us to be an example to others for Him.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that over-cometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7

Is Your Belief in Warm-Fuzzy Unifying Types of Faith Who Feel all Beliefs in God are One-in-the-Same Worth Losing Your Salvation?

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22  I had a co-worker once who belonged to a church that felt all beliefs in God were one in the same.  It sounded warm and fuzzy, everyone united in one faith in God. But are these beliefs true? In Matthew 7:15 Jesus says: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Is your belief in warm-fuzzy unifying types faith who feel all beliefs in God are one-in-the same worth losing your salvation?

In 1 John 2:23 it says, "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."
