And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not Me, saith the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:5
Sometimes I think that with all that's in the media, we have become numb to the things that the Bible speaks against. You don't hear an uproar from the public and it seems like no Big Deal when shows and movies are created about Satan, sorcery, and witchcraft. Additionally, premarital sex and adultery become some funny portion of the show or movie and those things are commonly portrayed these days during the family period of time that used to be hands-off for these topics. I don't hear people complaining any more about what our youth are being exposed to. Has it become No Big Deal?
With all the pending changes, do you think Christ would think it's No Big Deal if the hired people don't have significant wages or health care to take care of their families? Do you think Christ would think it's No Big Deal if the widows and the fatherless have to fend for themselves, because we no longer feel compelled to help provide for their needs? Do We Say By Our Actions to Christ that These Things Are No Big Deal?
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
What Do Our Actions Say When Jesus Calls Us? Sometimes, the lack of action conveys more than we imagine, but there's still time to make changes! Yeah, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for Thee; the Desire of our soul is to Thy name, and to the remembrance of Thee. Isaiah 26:8
