Galatians 5: 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
What Do Our Actions Say When Jesus Calls Us? Sometimes, the lack of action conveys more than we imagine, but there's still time to make changes! Yeah, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for Thee; the Desire of our soul is to Thy name, and to the remembrance of Thee. Isaiah 26:8
How does Jesus feel about our need for recognition from others whether from work, our friends, or at church?

Galatians 5: 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
According to this Bible verse, we shouldn't be seeking out recognition from others, even those at church. It's a competitive thing, sort of recognition for all we do or how clever or bright we are and that's not what Jesus wants in our lives! It's like we are saying the opinion of others matters more than the opinion of Jesus... something to think about!
Galatians 5: 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
If you get caught up in the latest fashion styles or decorating styles, what do your actions say to Jesus?
If you get caught up in the latest fashion styles or decorating styles, what do your actions say to Jesus?
Since we are all human, it's very easy for us to get caught up in the latest trends of fashion, decorating, etc., but that's not what Jesus wants for us. He wants us to focus on Him and not styles or other worldly things that only give temporary pleasure. He wants us to focus on our faith in Him, so that we can have eternal life and pleasure with Him in heaven forever!

1 John 2: 15 Love not
the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
When you are tempted to acknowledge the opinion of some that our faith in Christ our Savior is some made up fairy tale like Santa Claus, how does God feel about that?

2 Peter 1: 16 For we
have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the
power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His
majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father
honour and glory, when there came such a voice to Him from the excellent glory,
This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased. 18
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the
holy mount.
The disciples and up to 500 hundred other people saw Jesus after He arouse from the grave as Jesus had foretold them before it ever happened as proof, so that they would believe He really was and is the Son of God. They, being weak humans, as we all are, didn't believe that He really would arise from the dead, but He did and then they knew He is really the One True Savior and Lord of all.
That's why so many of the disciples were willing to give their lives and be tortured on behalf of Jesus when authorities tried to get them denounce His existence. How many people would knowing allow themselves to be tortured and killed for a lie? They would have denounced Jesus as the arisen Lord if that were the case, but they gave their lives, because they believe in Jesus, because they saw Him after He arose and ascended to heaven. Do your actions say that you believe that Jesus is the risen Lord?
If you mention the name of other gods and act as if all are the one true God as some say, do your action say you are doing the will of God?

circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard
out of thy mouth.
Deuteronomy 4:35 Unto thee it was shown that thou mightest know that
the LORD He is God, there is none else beside Him.
Psalm 96:5.For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made

God.
Isaiah 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from
that time, and have declared it? ye are even My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the
heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by Myself.
Isaiah 45: 5-6.I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God

Me. I am the LORD, and there is none
else.
Isaiah 45:18-19.For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God
Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created
it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none
else. I have not spoken in secret, in a
dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye Me in vain:
I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there
is none else: I am God, and there is none like Me.
Isaiah 48:12-13.Hearken unto Me, O Jacob and Israel, My called; I am
He; I am the First, I also am the Last.
Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand
hath spanned the heavens: when I call upon them, they stand up together.
Habakkuk 2: 18-20.What profiteth the graven image that the maker
thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker
of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake;
to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and
silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it. But the Lord is in His holy temple: let all
the earth keep silence before Him.
When Christian Scholars or those with Christian Training act better than others, would Jesus approve?
When Christian Scholars or those with Christian Training act better than others, would Jesus approve?
It doesn't say in the Bible that people have to be Christian Scholars to be saved.
It doesn't say in the Bible that people had to have lots of Christian Training to be saved.
It doesn't even say in the Bible that a person has to have an education to be saved.
In fact, these people may or may not actually be saved, depending on their relationship with Jesus.
It says in Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
It says nothing about being a scholar, having training, an education, or any other thing that people might lead you to believe. The Bible says: If thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
